He’s been the GM close to 7 years what do you like? He’s failed in assembling a roster took him years to find a decent goalie. Team hasn’t had a decent RW since Hudler left not counting Lindholm. Don’t even start with his horrible coach selections.
I get it he’s tried to make changes etc but at the end of the day it’s a performance based league. If I was getting paid big money and was mediocre at my job for 7 years I would be shown the door.
If the Flames make the post season sure keep him for another year. But if they miss he’s gotta go. Time for some new blood from the top to the bench and on the ice.
