I think you can win with Gaudreau and Tkachuk on your wings. You definitely can't win with seven NHL forwards in your lineup, though. But Brad's biggest mid-season forward acquisition of his tenure has been Curtis Lazar.
He does not make the necessary adjustments and I would be surprised to see him start.

The GM's unwillingness to trade from the core of the team has got us to where we are today (well that and undervaluing his own draft picks while overvaluing other team's depth players).
I like Treliving's style. He is calm and comes across as thoughtful. But where we are today is not much of a surprise and we've been on this path for three years.
Time for some new hands on the wheel.
