Because this fictitious bit of news about Americans, on mass, loading up their worldly goods and rushing to Canada has been running almost daily on the CBC since the Presidential election.

Okay lets try this again -- it's an NBC article Sammie. It's an American media outlet doing an American story about Americans moving away from America. The CBC has nothing to do with it.
You insist on calling this a piece of CBC fiction when it is clearly not fiction nor is it CBC.
I watch the CBC fairly often and I don't recall seeing this "Americans moving en masse to Canada" story once. I listened to a politically themed CBC show for an hour today and it didn't come up.
