I'm doing what you are doing with Christmas sets. Just started this year and hoping to start a new tradition.
Each year I'm buying a new Christmas set to unveil to the family on Christmas Eve.
The thought is, we build all the previous years sets in the weeks leading up to Christmas then we open and unveil the new set to add to the village. Repeat each year. Kids are aged 6, 4 and 2, so I got lots of runway to work with.
I'm sure once they are teenagers it will be one of their most dreaded Christmas traditions. ahhahaha. Cant wait.
