This week I finally sat down and watched Discovery (I'm like the only person in the world who doesn't stream), and can only describe it as "Star Trek written by people who have never watched Star Trek". Granted it was only season 2 I've watched (found a cheap DVD), but I honestly can't think of any reason to watch seasons 1 or 3.
