I don't want the Flames to blow it up, and I would much prefer they were playing exciting, good quality hockey, but if they're going to play boring and deflating hockey I wouldn't care that much if they just nosedived the rest of the season and got a high pick as long as they come back next season with that pick, a new coach and hopefully a good new RW. There's too much good on the team to want to blow it up, even if they're not showing much quality recently.
With the way this winter has been, by the time playoffs role around in May and the weather is already nice, I might be happy not to have anything keeping me inside.
