There’s alumni who seem hooked in and those who aren’t. I have a feeling Rhett isn’t hooked in. I’m not sure about Versteeg or Brouwer either. If anyone is still in touch I’d bet on Stajan, maybe with Gio. There’s some older guys who are hooked into management types. For example, Berezan still hears things.

It's funny you mentioned this because I've heard in the past that the Flames' early exits in the playoffs during the Iggy/Regehr/Kipper era was that some players went in the playoffs with hangovers the day they played. And it was during the times when Warrener looked just out of place on the ice. I think Feaster also mentioned something about of a smoking gun - a guy who sits in the basement in his underwear making rumors about Iggy. Then, once Iggy got traded, Warrener bought his house in Calgary. So, to me, Warrener ranks at about the same as Francis. Francis sounds like he took a big drag and forgot to breath and Warrener sounds like a redneck drunk.
