The Flames are 21st in goals against per game (ie, they are in the bottom third of the league in terms of defensive success.)
Interestingly the Flames are only 18th in team save percentage. Suggests that perhaps the goaltending hasn't been as great as many presume.
Anyway, the statistics bear one thing out: this team is okay at goaltending, bad at defence, and absolutely terrible at offence.

It's mind boggling that a team with four 25 goal scorers in their top 6 (three that have eclipsed 30 goals) can be one of the worst offensive teams in the NHL.
