The thing with Tkachuk, is if he chooses he can just accept the Flames qualifying offer in 2022, and be a UFA in 2023 at 25 years old.
To get him extended the Flames are likely going to have to pay through their teeth.
I would really love it Treliving could trade him for a similarly aged #1C. Even if you have to add to Tkachuk to get an elite one.
