The post that was being referenced was pointing out that JG is this teams best offensive player and we are watching yet another case of seeing a star player not reach their potential due to poor management.
That said, anyone here think that JG isn't going to light it up somewhere else in the league soon while we are all wondering what could been here? At least we won't have to worry about having his cap hit on our books.

Do you think JG lighting it up if paired with a great C or otherwise put in a better position means trading him is a mistake? Kessel got 92 points in Pitt, where never did in Toronto. And never was going to as the main guy. But on a team with Crosby/Malkin - yeah.
