Yeah, I'd agree.
His biggest mistake though IMO, was something he DIDN'T do, which was trade for ROR. I'm like a broken record on this, but it was a huge miss. If he trades for ROR, he doesn't sign Neal and we go into that 1st Peters season with:
Gaudreau - Monahan - Lindholm
Tkachuk - O'Reilly - XXXXX
...and never end up with Lucic.
