The Leafs this season, at 5v5, generate the following numbers:

CF/60: 51.65
FF/60: 39.85
SF/60: 28.05
SCF/60: 28.42
HDCF/60: 11.32
xGF/60: 2.36

Against the Flames these last 2 games, they generated:

CF/60: 69.86 (+18.21)
FF/60: 57.74 (+17.89)
SF/60: 37.78 (+9.73)
SCF/60: 31.37 (+2.95)
HDCF/60: 14.26 (+2.94)
xGF/60: 2.70 (+0.34)

The Leafs had an absolute fiiiiield day against the Flames.

The Flames' defensive effort was absolutely non-existent.

Rittich deserves 10000% of the praise for getting the Flames 3 points. But it's also a shame that his incredible (biggest understatement of the year) performances masked the Flames brutal defensive effort (and of course that goes without mentioning their horrible offensive effort as well).
On the contrary, on the season, the Leafs have allowed the following 5v5:

CA/60: 53.04
FA/60: 40.21
SA/60: 28.66
SCA/60: 26.73
HDCA/60: 10.41
xGA/60: 2.22

Yet, in the 2 games, the Flames were only able to generate:

CF/60: 47.05 (-5.99)
FF/60: 35.64 (-4.57)
SF/60: 27.09 (-1.57)
SCF/60: 22.81 (-3.92)
HDCF/60: 6.42 (-3.99)
xGF/60: 1.44 (-0.78)

Not only did the Leafs generate a s*** ton more offensively against the Flames than they do on average, but the Flames also generated a s*** ton less than the Leafs allow on average.

Expectations must be soooooooooo incredibly low for the fans who think the Flames played well in this 2 game series against the Leafs.

The Flames played like total s*** against a team missing numerous key players and their top 2 goalies. Rittich singlehandedly won them 3 points.

That is all.
