Absolutely.
They may even win against the Leafs but its about the manner in which they win.
The way they won against Vancouver twice was still the same hockey as the last two just with the goalie making the saves.
Still lackluster, still 50-60% efforts from most guys.
Win or lose when they play that way its not worth investing in because you can be certain they won't get out of the first round if they make the dance playing that way.
The output from min. 0 to 60 has to look very different from these first 17 games to be worth buying into this group this season.
Need far fewer valleys and much shallower ones in terms of compete.
