Just because JG may want to play in PHI doesn't mean CGY has to trade him there. We need a trading partner who thinks JG could make some of their guys better. I would be hammering the NJD - JH would fit nicely on wing with Hughes or Hischier; we could get a big young center back (Zacha), a couple of picks, and some cap space.
Forget PHI. Forget a huge return on JG.

Philly was just a random team but I think the return on Johnny, especially if we are willing to eat some money will be surprising. I would be fine with Jersey, I would target Holtz given the number of Swedes we have, along with Foote and picks. Given their stockpile of prospects and how they have not had much success for a decent amount of time I would take Zajac off their hands and eat Johnny salary if it meant a better package. Something like Holtz, Foote, 2021 first and Zajac for a 5.25 million dollar Johnny and a 1.8 million Derek Ryan to replace Zajac is something I would definitely look at. Jersey is likely a better trading partner given their prospect pool and their salary cap flexibility next year, they could legitimately put together a contender next year.
Zacha would be fine but I would target Holtz.
