On the flip side it makes him easy to fire. The issue of course is that the GM should not get another hire so if you fire the coach you have to fire the GM. Treliving must be feeling heat here as he's ultimately responsible for this mess and probably knows that telling his bosses the team need another new coach isn't going to go well. As a fan I feel I can't lose here because if Treliving is too scared to fire Ward then the team should end up with a top 7 pick in the draft and hopefully a new GM will be making that pick. The good thing about this shortened season is that it will be over relatively quickly and fans will have a lot to look forward to with new management and some high draft picks.
