It’s obvious the Flames don’t want to be a fast, heavy and hard hitting team. Especially being they have a few players who seem to want to play that way. I agree, what is the harm of giving a few skilled players a game or two.
The only issue I can see is that we really don’t have any blue chip offensive skilled players in the system. Phillips perhaps, but who else? As well, why not give Kylington a chance to play on his offside, being he had stated in the past he prefers it. Plus, he played the right side for most of his career prior to the AHL.
The team has been developing Kylington for years. Give the players the best chance to succeed.
Unless there is something in practice they are not liking.
