Brad, like any GM, has to live within his budgetary restraints. For him, it is spending the absolute maximum that any GM is allowed to spend. Brad has shown for 7 years how hard it is to build a winning franchise, so I do not think people are clueless. You would have to be an idiot to not know how hard it is, Brad has had 7 years and he has built a bubble team. And with the exception of one phenomenal 50 game stretch, that is all he has ever built.
But the centers are phenomenal, in the North only Toronto, Winnipeg and Edmonton have for sure better centers than the ones that Brad put together.
