I agree with this. I think roster management has been pretty good. But good lord the coaching hires. Its just not logical. Why would you put all the effort in to build a team and then top it off with an inexperienced or non winning coach? I just don't get it, I haven't understood it for years. I've had long arguments with people on this forum about every coach Treliving hired...and every coach ended up getting fired after lousy results (Peters notwithstanding). What is it this team has against proven track records? Why is it so damn hard to shortlist coaches who have executed at the NHL level? This is my number one frustration with Treliving by a longshot. His coaching hires have made zero sense and all have been proven to be bad decisions.
