While I don't think Prescott is elite he's good enough with that supporting cast to put up points but people forget that they had a losing record when Prescott got hurt last season and it would be hard to stomach allotting over $40 million in cap space to an 8-10 win QB as Prescott needs to be surrounded by talent to be successful and when you allot that much to a QB it makes it difficult to build a good team around him.

I dont understand why the Cowboys have been getting roasted over the DAK contract the last couple years. So many think they should just pay him what he wants. Its easy to roast Jerry Jones for many decisions but paying Dak close to 40 million is insane especially with a horrible defence that needs a complete re-tool.
