It doesn’t even make any sense. Lucic’s contract doesn’t allow him to be taxi squadded but he can certainly be healthy scratched, which effectively is all that is happening with Neal, since there’s no cap relief there.
If the Flames wanted to scratch Looch and bring in a guy from the squad like Gawdin, they’d be able to do it.
