His biggest moves have been in-house contracts, specifically the RFA contracts. The prices for Gio, Backlund, Monahan, Gaudreau, Hanifin, Tkachuk, Lindholm are all bargains compared to their peers and has left cap space to be filled with very good secondary players (which has unfortunately been utilized poorly on Brouwer, Neal, Lucic etc..).
