I enjoyed it, but I agree with you on the length. I was aware of the story, but obviously not a lot of the little details after. The whole story ended up being exactly what I thought it was from the start, but it was decent.
I actually found the web sleuth stuff interesting. Watching many of them just lose it and fall into conspiracies because of coincidences, or reaching too much struck a chord with me. I've seen this happen to several friends and family members over the past year on various topics, and it was odd to see how it all happens. I'm actually recommending it to some of those people for that very reason, to see if will recognize that behaviour..
As for those web sleuths, man that one guy with the touching of the gravestone just weirded me out...
