I noticed the Canucks came out in the first cutting off the Flames passing lanes, especially in the first. Calgary was hemmed in trying to get the pucks out of their own end but Canucks were heading to intercept the passes before the pass was made. It was an indication that the Flames were a bit predictable. Still too many passengers, guys not showing up to play. No excuses for Matty, this is a team game and some of the guys like GIO won't be around much longer. He gets paid well to do what he is not doing.
If this was Tort's team Matty would probably be benched and so would a handful of other guys. 3rd and 4th goals were guys standing around doing nothing, they had to know there was going to be some pushback when they scored the 2nd goal.
