Just a prediction but maybe Trelving is primed to become President of Hockey Operations in the near future and Conroy to take Tre’s place.
Ward is a placeholder until Conroy has a chance to hire his guy when he takes over.
I never understood bringing Ward back. Treliving got a free pass on Peters and blew it IMO.
