This team, for whatever reason, is inconsistent, game to game, period to period. Long stretches of looking good, long stretches of looking terrible.
Something has been 'off' for this team for years and I'm not sure how you fix it without making massive roster moves. Not because it's one player or one line, but as a whole, this team hasn't clicked for a long time, save for one half of a season under Peters. The players, the chemistry, it's just not there. It's groundhog day, yet again.
