It's really too bad. He seemed genuinely excited and grateful to get a chance to rebound on a young team in Ottawa. He didn't seem to get a chance there averaging only around 9 minutes of ice-time per game and not dressing for some of the games.
The coaches in Ottawa obviously have scoop better than me, so I trust them over my own instincts. They obviously wanted to see him rebound more than anyone. Realistically, most players aren't going to rebound being scratched and hardly playing, but I assume that he sucked so bad that he didn't warrant more of an opportunity.
