Nope Friedman would be wrong then.
If it was about anything it was about Tkachuk being frustrated he’s the only one in scrums and nobody stands up for him. Gaudreau even insuitated that a bit in his spitting chiclets interview.
No chance they held the meeting to tell Tkachuk to stop doing it, no chance.
Edit: looks like Friedman has it more the way I was thinking. Tkachuk was mad that nobody joins the scrums with him and gets involved and called the team out for that. And team told him to pick his spots better and it can’t be every night. Both sides of that argument are fair and not nearly what you were positioning it as.
