Think we all need to remember that it was his first real game in pretty much a calendar year, he has not stepped foot in a preseason or AHL game, and honestly didn’t look too out of place.
I thought he moved pretty well for his size, didn’t seem to use his body or size to dislodge a player from the puck, and he makes hard crisp passes.
He needs to work on his instincts and positioning but that will come as he adjusts to the pace of the NHL and For a guy that hasn’t played a real game since March 7th 2020 that probably isn’t unexpected.

I thought he was pretty good considering all that you stated. To me he looked like the pace wasn't beyond him (he wasn't just going off the glass and out). I mean he wasn't noticed for bad play all game and all he's been doing is practicing. Imagine what he'll be like after some games.
