Yes in theory they should boycott China....in every thing. The Olympics though? Not if they are business as usual in a hundred other areas.
So you rip away the hard work and sacrifice of the athletes, most of whom continue their disciplines strictly for a chance to compete in an Olympic games. What have you actually done?
On the international stage, Canada taking a stand means squat. Nothing.
So unless its a coalition of countries, no Canada should not be boycotting. If there is a real effort to pressure China and you can get the democracies of the world to work together on this, then sure.
