Between the 3 space heaters we 'borrowed', we were able to keep it at 18 degrees through the early evening, so that's a plus.
From what you have said I would think your motor is fine. It should last 20 years and I believe you indicated furnace is around 5 years old. That it fires up and does run for at least a little bit before failing again makes me first want to check if your air intake is icing up. Old pressure switch may have been ok it was doing it’s job just like new switch. Put some heat from space heater on line coming into house from outside to pre-heat the air. If there are any metal screens (prevent mice from coming into house) or air filters you can access check these too as they could filling with ice as furnace runs. Put space heater on these areas too.
