The newspaper Vision is initially reading has the innoculous headline about "Mother Sue loving her smiling baby June" or something to that affect (I need to go rewatch for actual quote). Then the first time Agnes mentions Ralph is something about "He would only remember our anniversary if it was a beer called June 2nd". I don't like coincendences so the fact that June came up twice in the first 10 minutes made me stop and think.

June 2nd was when the Salem Witch Trials began.

The Court of Oyer and Terminer convened in Salem Town on June 2, 1692, with William Stoughton, the new Lieutenant Governor, as Chief Magistrate, Thomas Newton as the Crown's Attorney prosecuting the cases, and Stephen Sewall as clerk. Bridget Bishop's case was the first brought to the grand jury, who endorsed all the indictments against her.

I'm thinking Agnes was perhaps a practicing witch with little power until she was burned at the stake (even though that didn't happen in Salem in actuality) and made a deal with Ralph.

She knows an aerospace engineer. I think that's the biggest FF clue but this rules out any time freeze or connection with Agnes.
