Re the Mathieu trash talking and throwing his hands up and beaking at the officials, he clearly had his head up his butt. So did the Chief's defensive staff. They knew at a certain point that the refs were focusing on contact downfield and their DB's kept doing it. You have to adjust to what the officials are doing, its a huge part of game adjustments.


I can't talk enough about Tampa and their use of the Tampa 2 defense to take away the speed of KC's receivers down field. Also the deliberate targeting of the two tackles. That was probably one of the best coordinator performances that I've seen in a long time.


Also adding a guy like Tom Brady does give a team a large degree of confidence and maybe looseness that a guy like him can bring.



I mean, KC is clearly talented and is likely to be competing next year, but they have to take a hard look at their secondary, and maybe have a more adjustable offensive playbook.
