Not sure what it would take to land this guy, but just for arguments sake, it would start with Bennett and maybe Dube,or some other asset like Zary-and I don't even think that gets it's done. We could argue that a rebuilding team like Detroit would be enticed by getting younger, but Yzerman is smart and knows what cards he holds. Just my humble opinion.
Or who knows, maybe this benching is an indication that the coach and/or the organization doesn't like him, and wants to get something for him. They aren't exactly in win now mode....
