Mahomes was under siege from the very beginning of the game until the very end. He was also clearly playing injured. He played about as well as anyone could have under those circumstances. Put Brady behind that patchwork Oline and up against that Tampa front 4, and he probably takes a dozen sacks tonight and struggles to pass for 100 yards.
As for the GOAT across all sports, my vote goes to Nadal. He is tied for the most majors of all time, and if not for injuries he clearly would have won many more than the 20 he currently has. Plus, he had to play during the same era as Fed and Djoker.
Sure, you would have to give the same leniency to Tiger if you are going to take injuries into account, but his situation is a bit different, as guys like Niklaus and Snead played in different eras and didn't stand in Tiger's way of dominating the sport.
