Because it has a huge following. Everyone loves it.

I am 15 minutes into Episode 1. A half-dozen times.

But its not 'The Wire's' fault. I'm in the same boat with 'The Expanse.'

I cant even remember how many times I've watched half of the first episode of that show. Yet I cant remember any of it.
