The idea that the Flames or any other teams Dmen have to allow him to get to the net unimpeded is asinine. It's their job to hold their position and protect their net.

Almost the exact play that caused his knee injury, not a very smart move by McDavid! Looked to me like he was leaning in and falling on his own. Very reckless play. Pretty sure he knows Markström could have been injured on that play.
