I've heard as many commentators, players, and coaches say gutsy performance as anyone else. However, I've also noticed when Campbell talks about the Flames, the opposition, players, the play or the game, it's confronted with an aggression and distain never reserved for others.
And this isn't targeted at you specifically, pylon. Frankly, it's really good to see you back and posting on the semi-regular. This is just a general observation I've made as a fan regularly participating in the GTs. Cassie Campbell receives far harsher criticism on this forum than any other commentator, despite making the same calls and observations as any other, despite being viewed as a 'homer' by other fanbases.
I would say I suspect the reason, but I know the reason.

It has absolutely nothing to do with her being a woman. I fully support women having a fair and equal shot at anything. In my workplace, a male dominated industry, I am extremely proud, that more than half our staff, is women. It’s almost unheard of in automotive and I had a part in hiring most of them. My wife, who works at our dealership in the finance dept, out earns me and I couldn’t be prouder of her.
My problem is, Cassie Campbell is a terrible colour commentator.
