I agree on the principle, but taking public pot shots at a former employer is not a great look. And while everyone bites their tongues on Bell and its sincerity every January/February, there are positive fallouts from the day that shouldn't be discounted simply based on that principle.
Speaking personally, I've been screwed over by a two-faced organization with an extreme lack of ethics. As good as it felt to post something immediately following, years later I kind of regret saying anything at all (even though I will always believe I was in the right). Just not the legacy memory I want after that time in my life and I'm glad I've - mostly - moved on.
It also doesn't help that this adds to the existing smoke around O'Toole's stability which may factor into future employment. Either way, I hope everything turns out alright for him.
