If you take away everyone's games against Ottawa the records are this:
Jets 4-3-1
Flames 4-5-1
Oilers 4-6
Canucks 3-8
Canucks suck obviously. Oilers suck too, but it remains to be seen if their top 2 players can keep keep them afloat all season. Their D and bottom 6 are truly dreadful. Flames and Jets pretty even, if just one of Flames' losses against the Jets went the other way the Flames would have a winning record and the Jets would have a losing record. Plus the Jets have only played the Leafs once and haven't played the Canadiens at all yet.
All in all the Flames have played poorly so far but their competition isn't really that scary. To turn things around they gotta start tonight and show those losers up north who's boss!
