I never felt that inconsistent kids that I coached had only me to blame when I was behind the bench.

I am kind of resigned at this point to accepting that several of the players on this team suffer from mental fragility. My hope is that they will catch on to something that sparks the passion needed for the team to have success, but I am also not counting on it. It feels like there is no choice but to ride this out and see what happens, and to enjoy as much of it as I can. Being miserable about it doesn't look like any fun at all.
