I am sure there are others.
We dont know if he is on thin ice. But any GM that cant get a team out of a funk for 6 years and causes unnecessary friction in the dressing room in year 7
(for a 4th line trade return no less) should not be surprised when he gets canned. Nor should the fans.

He did take over the team literally one year into a rebuild where they saw their best assets traded for peanuts or just retire.
Don’t get me wrong the seat should be getting warm for him but this team just made the playoffs in consecutive years for the first time since there run of making it from 04-09.
You are speculating that the Bennett thing is causing friction in the dressing room. The Flames win their games in hand they are in a playoff spot so this isn’t a Sens level start or a Canucks level start where they are getting just blown out with regularity.
Don’t get me wrong I think the best should be on Treliving here. I am with many that has lost all faith in Ward which is a trend with Treliving who has hired terrible coach after terrible coach.
I just don’t think a Bennett trade request and a slow start are the final straws considering he took over a team at the start of a rebuild and has made the playoffs in 4 of 6 years, and won the division 2 seasons ago.
