Crisp wasn’t that good a coach. That team was so good, they just needed a decent coach. It was the Flames/oilers and everyone else and the Oilers had just lost the best player in the history of the game that offseason. Habs weren’t even good, they just had prime Roy.
This team needs an elite coach to make them competitive in the playoffs.
