My big concern at this point is maximizing a return for Gaudreau. I can't see him coming back to the Flames after his current deal. Why would he? The franchise has been mired in mediocrity since he arrived.
If the Flames don't improve soon can they get a decent return this year? Or is it better to wait until next year? I don't know.
