At least that 2 on 0 save by Markstrom was amazing. His best save of the season. Not often you see a goalie make a save on 2 on 0 but he made it look easy.
Feels like the Flames are going to waste this season now that they
finally have elite goaltending. Just once I wish it would all come together; elite goalie, high flying offensive forwards, elite D, good coaching. Seems like every season for the past 20 years it's 1 or 2 out of 4 of those qualities, or none at all. Imagine all 4 of those areas coming together for a nice 5-10 year run ala Blackhawks...
*Sigh*. The life of a Flames fan. Still 2nd last in the division with a date with the Oilers Saturday who are starting to heat up themselves.
