Bennett's weird playoff statistical anomaly is probably more likely to regress than the Flames actual top players regressing to the mean.
Every team has a Bennett. A player that fans latch onto because he was drafted too high. Who at times in the year (playoffs, down the stretch, etc) outperforms their abilities and tantalizes fans to keep them interested.
Take away his draft pedigree and Bennett doesn't play in the NHL at his scoring rates. Which are terrible.
