Default Informal poll Van Halen

Sadly I can't do a poll. But I was deeply saddened by the death of Eddie Van Halen. Growing up I would have to rank them as my favorite band. I learned to play Jump (poorly) on my guitar in my buddies garage band playing to a sold out audience of two cats and a dog and two really dis interested girl. I later learned to play Running with the Devil on the bass.

Whenever I go for a long drive, I still listen to Van Halen. whether its tape, or cd or spotify as a band it holds a cherished spot.

So the one question I wanted to ask the CP world. Which Van Halen is your Ban Halen?

Is it the David Lee Roth Van Halen. The hard guitar hard party sound band with amazing hits like Dance the Night Away and Running with the Devil, and the whole awesome 1984 Album. The band with the serious guitar intros, and the even better guitar solos?

Is it Van Hagar. For some reason just way better musically to me, Hagar's vocals worked. It went heavier with the synth work but was still an amazing crank up the volume party band.

Was it maybe the Gary Cherone Van Halen, cause that would be weird since no one remembers it.

What are you're top 10 Van Halen songs of all time, the must listen vibe for any mood?
