I wonder if by the end of the season we’ll be hands down the most hated team in Canada. Assuming we make the playoffs, and aren’t just fodder for Tor and Mtl.
- Edm is a gimmie. Kassian getting repeatedly dummied and McDavid’s broken leg just amps it further.
- Tkachuky Cheese immediately moves the needle for all teams.
- Wpg thinks we injured their center in the play-in round.
- Tor thinks we intentionally jumped on their backup who was already injured.
- Mtl sees us as headbutting / illegal runs to the head.
- Van already hates us and figures we stole a good chunk of their roster.
- Ott... well they have their own Tkachuk.
It feels like rightly or wrongly (mostly rightly) we’re on everybody’s s-list, and its just going to get bigger with every game.
