I thought the Flames played well just that Montreal was better. I really like Montreal's game, reminds me a bit of Vegas with their skating and relentless pressure. That PK in the third was crazy just all out hustle. Can they keep it up is the question.
Markstrom, which has been stated many times was fantastic. Nice not to hold your breathe on weak shots from bad angles.
Nordstrom, Ryan, Leivo all had their best games. Thought Leivo-Backlund-Bennett had some good shifts late in the game and were finding some chemistry. Could be a very good 3rd line for the Flames.
Hanifin is looking great and I can see his role expanding as he gains confidence. Tanev is a great partner for him.
Tckachuk needs to be better, smarter out there. Way too many turnovers on cheap, tricky plays. Brought that whole line down.
All in all a pretty solid game against a team that was playing pretty well.
