I don't know if you remember the 88-89 season, but I do, and if you don't there's a great thread on this site recapping it game by game.
That team won some periods, lost some periods. Won a lot of games by being the better team for the majority of the game. Where did this obsession with being dominant for 60 minutes straight come from?
