not particularly surprised; i thought Bennett was the likely choice to be exposed in the expansion draft.
After 5 seasons with the Flames, I am comfortable in saying he is what he is: a guy that is good for around 25 regular season points, who has another gear in the playoffs, but is still in the bottom six.
His value is probably for another player who is another reclamation project... it terms of draft capital, I'd honestly be surprised if he fetched more than a 3rd round pick.
